…Er, almost. If you haven’t read yesterday’s post, please do so now. I’m mentally cracking knuckles, stretching fingers and ready to get back to the business of living. Only that trio Jada (my super ego) and Jodi (id) have been throwing a month long party in celebration. Even Quiet One appears on the brink of having a lot to say. How can I cut short the festivities? It’s a good feeling that’s long overdue.
Speaking of overdue, it’s high time to return to blogging. Posts may be sporadic as I slowly dip my toe back in the water, as it were. The goal is to rebuild mental resources and not overwhelm myself by jumping into the deep end, instead of slowing easing back in.
Ironically with my mind open to discuss everything in the world, I still have the blogger’s problem: What to Talk About? I even asked Jada, who’s never short on mayhem, how she felt about a certain actor’s appearance on Sir Peter’s recent vlog. When she replied, “who?,” I thought it best not to go there. Yet.
So, while I dredge up less… controversial… things to say, enjoy a gander at recent said actor before he rids himself of that horrid hairy mask. It’s just a matter of time ladies! Sorry, hairy horde. Oops. Maybe too soon?
Ahh, it’s good to be back.
I’m having a great giggle just now……love the bit about enjoying the beard while it lasts! Good on you, as we Australians say……you say what you feel, kiddo, it’s your blog 😉
I’ll now go back and read the blog in its entirety (flipping heck..have I spelled that correctly? I’ve never been a spellchecker girl and I never will be…absolutely hate it!) again to make sure I haven’t missed anything.
Don’t ever feel you need to push yourself to write anything…just if and when you really feel the need 🙂 ,,,, we’re happy to wait for you
Judi, as only a newbie to your blog, I didn’t know about your struggle with depression. Winston? I immediately had a vision of a big pug low growling at you. So good to hear you have been able to stare him down.
If you only blog intermittently – that’s fine with me. Some bloggers get a trifle, well, exhausting. 🙂
Have to admit I have been smitten with “beard love” however I am sure as soon as it is shaved off I will suddenly be smitten with “clean shaven love”. I’m just hoping he keeps that delicious deep voice…THUD!
Beachbaby? As in OzBeachbaby on YouTube?
Yep – it’s me – BB from Canberra 😉
Had to put the Oz in front on YT & Twitter – BB already taken!
Hi BB 🙂 I don’t see your username too often but thought it just might be you
Good to have you back, Judiang, and your anti-beard humour ;o) I wish you lots of fun and celebrate with you!
The hairy times will come to an end. (I am not sure if it is the same in English, but in German that has a double meaning of a ‘troubled time’ as well as the literally hairy meaning.) 🙂
…you cannot mean me with “beardy horde”, but this makes me laugh really loud…….
Your picture of RA (love it!) with beard is so appropriate–and very toleRAnt of you. You should see what I wrote just now on your post for yesterday. Ha! Congrats again, by the way.
Yes, I’m a convert for some time now to the gals who like RA with his beard. Though I like RA any way he chooses to be–clean shaven, designer stubble, trying to grow out his beard, and full beard bring it on RA baby. I know “down girl”. Ha!
Maybe we should give ourselves a name–apart from the hairy hoard that you suggest. I rather prefer, the Beardettes.
And don’t worry about arranging yourself into a regimented posting schedule. Just go with the flow, and see what comes of it. Whatever you choose to share with us is always lovely and such a gift–especially your honesty about your health struggles. So RAck on Judiang baby, Winston has left the building!
Cheers! Grati ;->
Regularly scheduled promgramming is a wonderful thing. Looking forward to more!
Yeah! Regularly scheduled programming sound wonderful! I for one will gladly enjoy the beard while it lasts. Although I laughed when I saw that you had posted one of those gorgeous pics! Don’t feel pressured to post, just do it whenever inspiration strikes.
I’m really hoping RA will have vanquished the thing by ComicCom. Fingers crossed! 😀
Just so you know, my inner b*itch is growling at Winston to stay away!
Thanks! Patty is being vigilant too; she needs all the help she can get. 😀
Judi – when I saw the photo you included, my first thought was – OMG, she’s lost her mind!! That is – until I saw the comment you put below it !!! That is AWESOME. 🙂
Just wanted the beardy horde to take one last look at the fur before it’s GONE! BWAHAHAHA!
