Good morning, September! As a child, this month meant back to school. Now for me it begins the journey to December winter (and Christmas. YAY!!!) So because I’m an old fart, this song has been my earworm all morning. Jerry Orbach originally sang it in the 1962 off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks.
Enjoy.
Mom loved that song. (Not to make you feel old or anything.)
I wonder how long Orbach was in it — the musical ran forEVER.
Great song. I remember the song from when I was a kid, but the version I know was sung by Andy Williams. My mum loved Andy Williams.
Hi Judiang, Loved that song! Though I remember hearing it as a child, I didn’t actually see a production of The Fantastiks until my junior year in high school. It was a bare bones set, but the singing and acting were top notch. Happy September! Cheers! Grati ;->
Hi Judiang, I nominated you for “The Mystery Blogger Award”. Please see my post linked below (about my being nominated by Esther) to find out how this mutually supportive award process works, in case you’re interested in participating. Hugs & Cheers! Grati ;->

Good grief! This was almost 3 1/2 years ago and I’m just now seeing it. Sigh. Thank you for nominating me anyway; I really appreciate it. 🙂
